"The wide roofed verandas, louverd windows and shiplap board interiors of beach houses along the length of the Australian coast have been reworked by Daryl Jackson to create a home of intelligent simplicity. The house is essentially a free flow of space, but the architect has worked to ensure the privacy of guests by creating a number of private spaces. The beach house is, above all, comfortable with natural materials used throughout the interior, including polished brush-box floorboards and old telegraph poles sanded to a smooth finish to evoke a sense of calm" - Australian Style magazine.

Windjana is a magnificent luxury beach house designed by Daryl Jackson and has featured in Vogue and Australian Style. The beach house is situated at Wongaling Beach and is just a 20 meter stroll from the house to the sandy beach and the Coral Sea. Windjana Beach House offers fabulous views to Dunk Island.

The interior mood is elegant, spacious and casual, filled with comfortable contemporary furniture from all over the world. Windjana completely opens to the sea breezes and all areas including the very private pool are surrounded by wide covered verandas, leading into the open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area.

Windjana features 3 king size independent discreet bedrooms, all with ensuite. Each bedroom is fully air conditioned and all are equal in privacy, size and furnishings. One bedroom can also be made into 2 king singles. Top quality linen and towels are provided. There are numerous areas for dining and relaxation and the fully equipped gourmet kitchen is an absolute delight to prepare any meal you wish. The private pool is on the upper level just a step from the living area and looks onto the secluded tropical garden.
